Cracked and leaking push-to-connect air line fitting on the air dryer supply line. Pressure loss in the air brake system — a DOT violation and a safety hazard. Truck sidelined roadside.
New push-to-connect fitting installed. System pressure restored, air brake function verified, truck cleared for road. Completed on-site — no tow, back rolling the same day.
Worn-out starter — corroded terminals, seized internals, no crank. Pulled roadside in Mesa with the truck fully loaded and on a tight delivery schedule.
New OEM-spec starter installed, terminals torqued, wiring cleaned and secured. Cranked on the first turn. On-site in Mesa — no tow, no shop wait.
Ruptured air hoses and severed cables hanging loose at the QBox panel. No air to trailer brakes, no running lights — DOT out-of-service.
The old black air line cut clean through — zero pressure to the trailer brakes. New green replacement line staged alongside it, ready to route.
New air supply and electric lines routed, secured, and connected. Trailer brakes pressurized, lights verified, rig cleared for road. No tow, back rolling the same day.
Dashboard lit up with "Parked Regen Required" and multiple DPF fault codes. Engine derate limits power to 5 mph — truck effectively dead on the road.
Connected to the ECM roadside, pulling live DPF soot load, exhaust temps, and fault codes — the same tools a dealership uses, brought directly to the truck.
"Parked Regen Complete" — fault lights cleared, derate lifted, full power restored. From 5 mph derate to road-ready without a tow or shop visit.
Failed pressure sensor and leaking air line on a Volvo VNL air dryer. New sensor installed, leaking line reseated and secured, system pressure verified. Back on the road without a tow.
"Engine Protection Performing Shutdown" on the dash — the Cascadia's protection system triggered an automatic shutdown. Root cause: a faulty coolant level sensor sending a false low-coolant signal to the ECM.
Bad coolant level sensor pulled and replaced roadside in Mesa. No actual coolant loss — the sensor was feeding the ECM a false reading, triggering the engine protection shutdown. Fixed on-site, no tow needed.
Dashboard cleared, engine protection fault gone, truck running strong at 111°F Arizona heat. New sensor confirmed accurate coolant level — no more false shutdowns. Rolling again without a shop visit.

Nobody wants to deal with a flat tire. It's stressful, frustrating, and never happens at a good time. I'm really glad I found RoadWrench 24/7 Truck Mobile Repair. Helpful is an understatement. They got me back up and running quickly, charged a fair price, and even gave me great advice on replacing the tire that was damaged. I rarely leave reviews, but the customer service was good enough that I felt like I had to. Highly recommend RoadWrench if you ever find yourself needing mobile truck repair.
